Is in class Driver Education/Traffic School better than online?

Yes, because it gives you the common sense approach to driving.  Students can observe and experience live teaching which is invaluable to the concepts of driving.

 

 Can my teen drive home from the DMV once they get their permits?

No.  It states this on the second page of the permit along with other rules and guidelines.

 

 Can my teen drive near the DMV route for practice with a Driving School?

No.  It is illegal for any Driving School to drive near or on a DMV test route.

 

Is it true that Teens can't  get their license until 18 years of age?

No.  This is a rumor that has gripped the minds of our society who do not read the California Handbook annually to understand the rules and change.

 

What is the process of Teens getting their license?

Student must complete Drivers Education first, Pre-Enroll for Behind-The-Wheel Training  second, take the Permit test at DMV third, complete the 6 hours of on the road training and than take the DMV Road Test.

 

Do a point go on my record when I get a ticket?

No and Yes.  No, if you attend Traffic School (you can only attend every 18 months).

Yes, if you do not attend Traffic School and your insurance will go up!

 

Why do I have to pay again at Traffic School?
