Requirements: Traffic Violators School is offered to anyone who has violated the law by receiving a citation and has been cleared by their city or county court officials to attend. This course is an approved (8) eight hour (400 minutes, actual class time) classroom education of understanding the responsibilities set forth by the Department of Motor Vehicle and the California Vehicle Code to insure that licensed drivers will continue education and reestablish their knowledge of the law. The course consist of reviewing laws, handouts, discussion, videos, quizzes and sharing citation infractions. Upon completion of the course students will receive a DMV certificate of completion, DMV form OL730. Once the student has received a certificate of completion the original copy must be forwarded to the city or county the citation was issued by the courts due date. Remember, completing this course keeps the violation off your DMV record and keeps your insurance premiums low !
